Privacy is not an afterthought
Archie uses a Two-Vault architecture. Your personal data lives in an encrypted Personal Vault that HiveClaw agents can never access. Project data stays in a separate Project Vault. Data only crosses between them with your explicit permission — and every crossing is logged.
Customer-Keyed Encryption
Your vault key is generated and given to you. We store the fingerprint, never the key itself. If you lose it, we cannot recover your data — by design.
Dedicated VPS Option
PA Private plan runs on its own server. Outbound connections only. HiveClaw cannot SSH in. If you cancel, take the VPS with you.
Auditable Bridge
Every time personal data crosses to the project domain, it is logged. Review exactly what was shared and what was stripped, anytime.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a HiveClaw project to use Archie?
No. Mode B (the full personal assistant) works as a standalone product. You can subscribe to Archie without ever starting a HiveClaw project.
Can HiveClaw agents see my personal data?
Never. Personal data lives in an encrypted vault that HiveClaw agents cannot access. Data only crosses between the personal and project domains with your explicit permission, and every crossing is logged.
What happens if I lose my vault key?
Your data becomes irrecoverable. This is by design — we cannot decrypt your personal data without your key. We recommend storing it in your password manager.
What if I cancel?
You can export all your data first (JSON + iCal + vCard). Personal data (T2+) is purged immediately. On the Private plan, you can transfer your VPS to your own Hetzner account.
Does Archie read my emails?
By default, Archie only reads email metadata (sender, subject, timestamp). Full body access is opt-in, and you can exclude specific senders.
